I'm always looking for new, inspiring projects and exceptional fits. Whether you're interested in working with me or just want to say hello, let's start the conversation!

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you build websites?

No. I design websites – crafting the user experience and creating the visual interface. My work ends at the artwork stage. I do however speak the language of developers and understand the evolving need for well-documented layout systems and art files. I provide written design guides and assemble comprehensive asset libraries to ensure a seamless transition into development.

How much do you charge?

It depends on the scope of a project and the services rendered. I’m more expensive than your typical freelancer, yet cheaper than an agency. I tend to be a great fit for mature companies with internal resources (marketing/development) who are looking for an outside perspective.

How do you bill, fixed-price or hourly?

For larger, first-time engagements I define a set scope and associate a fixed budget. In the beginning, the goal is to build a relationship and collaboratively solve a problem. During this process, I don’t want to make my clients feel like they are “on the clock”. I do offer hourly retainer arrangements for long-time clients to meet smaller, more tactical needs.

I just need a quick fix. Can you help?

Most likely not. New clients that are looking for a strategic partner are a great fit. Companies looking for a freelancer to jump in and solve a specific, tactical problem typically don’t get the full value of my services and perceive me as too costly.

Do I have to be in Columbus, Ohio to work with you?

Not at all! I work with clients across the country and beyond. Meeting my clients face-to-face is a rarity. The vast majority of interactions are conducted virtually via screen share and video conference.

What’s the next step after sending a contact request?

Once you send a request, I’ll get in touch with you via email to schedule an introduction call. At this stage, I want to get to know you, learn about your company, and understand your project.
