Norway-based Fotostation is a professional-grade image management software that helps photographers optimize their workflow. We designed FotoStation's brand identity to reflect their functional focus and Scandinavian roots.
Now that Dotvita has closed its doors, I wanted to commemorate the company by assembling a collection of materials we created over the past 5 years. Together, Dave Onkels and I put together a multitude of marketing tools, sites and brand accessories that not only looked pretty but also allowed us to grow into a remarkably profitable design agency.
Bizfi is a financial marketplace for small businesses offering funding options that go far beyond traditional bank loans. With a need to quickly establish credibility within the industry, we were hired to design the brand identity, loan application experience and dashboard interface.
The homebrew scene is rapidly evolving and there is a growing need for visual distinction – even at the smallest level. I helped develop the personal brand of residential brewer Myke Welch. A unique identity was created by using location references as well as a custom mascot design.
Tripbam has a unique positioning within the hotel booking industry. Capitalizing on rate fluctuations, the web-based service lets users select a cluster of hotels. Tripbam then automatically re-books the best room price within the cluster up until shortly before their trip. The project included the design for a fully responsive web application and marketing website along with a UI style guide.
Essen, Germany, has become quite an amazing destination. It was crowned Kulturhauptstadt (European Culture Capital) in 2010 for embracing its industrial past through the adaptive reuse of historic factories and mines. To celebrate this renaissance, I updated its coat of arms to include the current symbol of the city: Zeche Zollverein.
Inspired by the Judgmental Maps series, I created my own illustrated map of Dallas. The intent was to highlight key areas within the city by using a combination of architectural landmarks and icons that capture more abstract concepts.

Skill Capped, the educational platform for video games, offers instructional courses for players who want to drastically improve their abilities. We helped define the Skill Capped user experience and designed their web application and marketing site.
